MCD Shades Chosen for the Renegade Super C Recreational Vehicles

Kibbi LLC has been outfitting their specialty vehicles with MCD American Duo™ Day/Night Shades since August of 2009. Creating a more customized and updated look with MCD Shades is apparent in the new Renegade offerings. The newly designed Ikon motorcoach (shown here) utilizes MCD Day/Night Shades throughout the interior. MCD night shades are 100% room darkening and provide nighttime privacy. MCD day shades protect from heat and cold while allowing the occupants a clear view of their exterior surroundings. Those outside can not see into the coach, adding more privacy during the daylight hours. Day/Night Shades are available in powered or manual configurations or a combination of the two.

The powered MCD shades utilize a 14 channel wireless remote to control each individual window shade as well as “all night” and “all day” buttons to lower or raise all the shades in the coach at one time making the addition of these shades a modern convenience.

The superior performance of MCD Day/Night Shades makes them the choice of many original equipment manufacturers. All MCD products are made in the U.S.A. and carry a one-year warranty.

For more information on MCD shades, wheel covers, mirror covers and bras as well as vent and skylight covers call 800.804.1757.

History

In 1997, Chuck McKibbin and his crew were banned from showing their unit at the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s national convention because they were not members. So they displayed their RV in the parking lot and called themselves the renegades. The name stuck and now, 10 years later, Renegade/Kibbi LLC has grown from 8 employees to 105 employees, and has eclipsed production milestones with the 2,000th motorhome and the 1,500th trailer rolling off the assembly line. Starting out in a 20,000 square foot building, it has now grown into 220,000 square feet of plant area.

Renegade/Kibbi LLC was initiated by Chuck McKibbin as a specialty vehicle manufacturer primarily serving the auto racing industry. Because of Chuck's vision and the entire company's relentless pursuit of unequalled quality, Renegade has established itself as the undisputed quality and volume leader in the specialty markets it has either created or chosen to compete in. Renegade has established a large customer base in the specialty vehicle industry including; custom motorhomes and motorhomes with sportdecks, mobile garage units, custom car transport trailers, mobile command communication vehicles and S.W.A.T. equipment vans. Other primary target markets include mobile technology and mobile health vehicles. Although a few trailers have been built for NASCAR drivers like Mark Martin, Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr., drag racers are the primary customers.

The business is located along the Indiana Toll Road in Bristol, Indiana in two (2) 110,000+ square foot manufacturing and assembly plants. Each facility is dedicated to a specific platform; one for trailer production and one for motorized production.
